Good morning Bitachon of the day ❤
Sometimes, we need to witness an example of human excellence to inspire us to pursue our own unique mission in life. Our goal is to become the best version of ourselves, but seeing someone live with purpose can push us to raise our self-expectations, challenge our limits, and ask if we are truly giving life everything we have. However, the pursuit of greatness often makes it difficult to balance relationships, physical health, and other areas of life.
During the Chagim, we were blessed to host someone truly special. She went through a very difficult period in her life, but despite everything, she radiated happiness and positivity. Her energy, joy, and refusal to speak negatively about anyone spread light wherever she went. Though she expressed how grateful she felt to be with us, in truth, we were the ones fortunate to have her. At a young age, she has chosen to live life fully, remove negativity, and embrace joy, reminding us that happiness is a choice. Many of us, with easier lives and fewer struggles, might find it difficult to embody even a fraction of the positivity she radiates.
Over the days we spent together, she taught me a profound lesson: when you set your mind to be happy, you begin to see light all around you instead of darkness. I believe she has the potential to inspire many others, just as she has already transformed my life, my husband and my children’s with her simple, positive outlook.
When we surround ourselves with people who push us to be better, they challenge us to step outside our comfort zones, grow, and reach our full potential. Hashem always teaches us to strive for higher levels of growth, but we cannot achieve it alone. The leaders, Rabbis, friends, and mentors that Hashem places in our path help us grow and become the best version of ourselves. Yet, we must keep our eyes and mind open to recognize these opportunities. While Hashem guides us along the journey, it is our responsibility to listen, understand, and take action.
Growth requires partnership with those around us and a commitment to embracing the lessons and support that Hashem provides. As Pirkei Avot teaches, “Make for yourself a teacher, acquire for yourself a friend, and judge every person favorably.” True personal growth happens when we are open to learning from others and take deliberate steps toward becoming the person Hashem intends us to be.
Growth doesn’t happen in isolation. We need teachers to provide wisdom, friends to hold us accountable, and compassion to foster meaningful relationships. When we intentionally surround ourselves with those who inspire us, we unlock the best within ourselves and create an environment where everyone can thrive.
May we always seek the company of those who uplift, inspire, and challenge us to become the best version of ourselves, aligning our actions with Hashem’s will and spreading kindness along the way. Amen 🙏
Wishing you all a wonderful day ❤
