Good morning Bitachon of the day ❤️
Sometimes, we become so absorbed in our own lives that we start to believe everything revolves around us. Instead of perceiving things as they truly are, we interpret everything as a reflection of ourselves, projecting our own views onto the world around us. However, it's essential to look beyond the surface, beyond our own perspectives, and recognize the endless beauty, wisdom, and depth that lie beneath. We need to appreciate what Hashem has created for us, realizing that life is not just about "I" but about the world around us and our connection to Hashem.
When we move beyond the focus on "I," we open ourselves to experiencing the daily miracles that Hashem performs for us. In the midst of the chaotic world we live in, our minds are often consumed by the physical, leaving the spiritual overlooked, causing us to lose our way. Our vision becomes clouded by the distractions of the material world. However, if we choose to look beyond this, our entire journey can transform. Throughout history, we have faced turmoil, and this is neither the first nor the last until Mashiach comes. Now is our time to make a meaningful change in our lives.
This summer, we attended a completely secular wedding surrounded by both Jewish and non-Jewish guests. My husband was asked to recite the seventh blessing of the Sheva Brachot, while the other blessings were either read in English or simply recited without much ceremony. My husband, however, chanted his blessing with love and a melodic tune. The guests were captivated, they had never heard it before. Many of them, curious and intrigued, asked questions about Judaism and expressed a genuine interest in learning more.
It's remarkable how something as small as a single blessing can spark such interest and even change someone’s perspective. When my husband was asked to recite the blessing, he sought guidance from our Hazan, not to show off, but to convey the beauty of our religion to the guests. His focus wasn’t on himself, but on the audience he was addressing.
After the ceremony, one of the guests, a Lebanese Christian, approached us to discuss the ongoing war. He shared something that fascinated us: growing up, IDF soldiers were in Lebanon fighting Hezbollah, and the Christians there were supportive of their efforts. He even mentioned that he himself owned an IDF uniform and stressed that without Israel, Lebanon would be lost. He strongly believed that Israel must win this war.
My children were in awe of what he shared with us, and it all stemmed from my husband reciting a simple Bracha during the ceremony. For us Orthodox Jews, it might have been a routine act, but to others, it was something deeply meaningful and powerful.
When we live our lives according to the path of Hashem and strive to show the world around us how important and meaningful He is, everything else will naturally fall into place.
May we follow Hashem's path and see beyond the physical world. Amen.🙏
Wishing you all a wonderful day ❤️
