Good Morning Bitachon of the day ❤️

How Do You Start Your Day?

When you wake up in the morning, what is the first thing you do? Unfortunately, many people instinctively reach for their phones to check emails, messages, and any missed notifications, immediately immersing themselves in a rush of incoming data. This habit sets a reactive tone for the day, allowing external stimuli to dictate the start of our morning.

What if, instead, you began your day by expressing gratitude? Upon waking, you could thank Hashem for restoring your soul and recite Modeh Ani.

My rabbanite always said there is a significant correlation between the prayer Modeh Ani and the act of getting up in the morning. The body needs 12 seconds to rise from bed without fainting, and Modeh Ani consists of 12 words.

I researched this and discovered that Professor Linda McMaron from Great Britain concluded that morning fainting is caused by an overly rapid transition from a prone to a standing position. Professor McMaron explained that the blood requires twelve seconds to flow from the feet to the brain. When a person gets up too quickly (in under 12 seconds), the rapid shift causes the blood to "project" too quickly from the feet, leading to a loss of consciousness.

It's incredible how Hashem provided a prayer that aligns perfectly with the body's needs.

By taking the time to say Modeh Ani in the morning, you set your mind in a different place. Especially in today's world, with all its challenges, Hashem is asking us to calm our minds by praying and thanking Him for everything we have.

When I was in Israel visiting soldiers, hostages, and survivors, the same message resonated: we should take our time to enjoy life, as we only have one, and we should thank Hashem for everything He has done for us.

In our everyday lives, every time we try to understand something Hashem has asked us to do, we find a powerful and meaningful explanation behind it. It's not only incredibly important to follow Hashem's laws, but it also has a profound impact on our daily routines.

May we all take our time to enjoy life without being connected to our physical world, and connect to Hashem spiritually amen 🙏

Wishing you all a wonderful day ❤️
