Good morning Bitachon of the day ❤️

We can only feel miserable while serving Hashem if we view it as a burden, doing it robotically out of habit and merely going through the motions. When this happens, Hashem sends us challenges as a wake-up call. Yesterday, I saw a video of a religious woman recounting a story. When they received a phone call from the doctor that their mother had cancer, everyone started to scream and cry. However, the mother began to dance and praise Hashem. Astonished, her daughter asked, "Did you actually hear what the doctor just said, that you have cancer?" The mother replied, "Yes, it's what Hashem wants from me now, and I must celebrate His will." Her Emunah (faith) and Bitachon (trust) were so strong that she thanked Hashem for the news. After performing all the necessary exams, the doctor said it was not as bad as he initially thought, and it was at a very early, treatable stage.

While watching that story, I wondered how one can achieve such profound faith in Hashem, even in the face of hardship, and praise Him with joy. This is particularly striking when someone was not raised with such beliefs or only learned about Hashem later in life. When we recognize the countless miracles Hashem performs for us, how can one not have deep faith or harbor doubts?

Over the past ten months, our study of Bitachon (trust) has shown that it is an essential practice we must engage in daily to develop true Bitachon. The gematria of Bitachon is 75, and Psalm 75 in the Book of Psalms reflects the power and majesty of Hashem. This psalm praises Hashem as the ultimate judge who determines the fate of all people, expressing gratitude for His presence and deeds. It warns the wicked of their fleeting power and assures that Hashem will humble them while uplifting and vindicating the righteous. Psalm 75 reassures the faithful that Hashem controls all events, sets the appointed times, and judges with fairness, ensuring that justice prevails.

Every day, we are reminded of Hashem’s power as the ultimate judge and ruler. Without Him, our existence would not be possible. In the face of the most challenging situations, we should praise Hashem and thank Him for the difficulties He presents. We need to train ourselves to believe that if Hashem has given us a challenge, it is because He knows we can handle it and that we will make good use of it. This mindset can help us reach the level of faith demonstrated by the mother in the story, accepting everything from Hashem with joy.

May we all achieve the ability to rejoice in challenges and thank Hashem for both the good and the bad. Amen.🙏

Wishing you all a wonderful day ❤️
