Good morning Bitachon of the day ❤️
Beyond deciding to live in a state of great fullness, we can take concrete steps to ensure our mindset fosters a happy life. Living with an outlook of gratitude (hakaras ha’tov)—proactively looking for, recognizing, and appreciating the multitude of gifts in our lives, fundamentally changes our perspective. In truth, we don’t deserve to be alive in the first place. We never earned the right to exist. There was no guarantee that we would wake up today, and there is no guarantee that we will wake up tomorrow. Many people who were here yesterday are not here today. Our life is a constant gift from Hashem.
Our community has many organizations to help with various needs, from addictions to kidney donations, elderly care, and even our own ambulances, just to name a few. These organizations exist to help those in need live another day and enjoy the gift that Hashem has given us. Hashem inspires the creation of these incredible organizations, teaching us to help one another, be kind, and think about the future of our communities.
Rabbi Akiva successfully taught us by teaching his new students sensitivity, kindness, and love, emphasizing that the love of our fellow man is the central teaching of the Torah. Every aspect of Torah law and our society should be influenced by this love.
In today’s world, it can be hard to recognize how lucky we are and appreciate Hashem’s gifts due to societal pressures to be perfect and fit in. This pressure can cause mental health issues. If we could just appreciate what Hashem has given us and remove the stress around us, we would realize that Hashem gave us the gift of life for a greater purpose. Sometimes we must go through hard times to appreciate the good times, but once we reach that stage, we must understand how lucky we are to be alive and enjoy our surroundings.
I have faced scares in my life, and Hashem granted me more days on this earth. This experiences made me decide to be a better person. Facing death made me recognize that life is easier to deal with and that we can become better versions of ourselves. When we give gratitude to Hashem, our mindset changes. We begin to question why we get angry so easily, judge so quickly, or envy others. Instead of letting these thoughts take up space in our minds, we should enjoy every moment of our lives, appreciating the gifts Hashem has given us with love, happiness, joy, and gratitude. This shift in perspective can improve our entire endeavor in life.
May we enjoy Hashem's gift every single moment we are on this earth. Amen.🙏
Wishing you all a wonderful day ❤️
