Good morning Bitachon of the day ❤️
When you use your challenges as opportunities for growth, you undergo constant internal development, creating a profound sense of existential happiness. You don't need to be smiling every step of the way; genuine growth often involves significant pain and hardship. However, as long as you know you are progressing along the right path and becoming the person you are meant to be, even the pain is accompanied by a feeling of happiness. External displays of success pale in comparison to the joy of true internal progress and growth.
The baalei machshavah explain that all happiness stems from self-expansion. This is because Hashem is the all-encompassing Creator of this world, and each of us, as a tzelem Elokim, has an infinite root as well. As we expand ourselves, we tap into our root oneness, resulting in a feeling of existential happiness. We experience this truth in our everyday lives. When you expand your mind by understanding a new Torah concept, something new about the universe, human psychology, or yourself, you experience a deep state of joy. The same is true when expanding your inner awareness or pushing past boundaries to become a greater version of yourself.
In my own experiences, I have grown closer to Hashem with each hardship. These challenges have shaped who I am today, and I look forward to growing every day. Even if they keep me up at night and cause true suffering, I am now approaching them differently, seeing each hurdle as an opportunity for growth.
Upon landing in Israel, it was surprising to see how Israelis live. Regardless of the current situation, the streets, restaurants, and beaches are full of people laughing, dancing, and enjoying themselves as if nothing has ever happened. This is their way of coping, surviving, and moving on with life. There is no sense of sorrow or animosity; everyone is happy and enjoying life as much as they can. For those of us who watch the news daily, it may seem like a nightmare in Israel, and many are afraid to travel there. Unfortunately, when we landed, the airport was empty, with barely anyone flying in. The media have robbed us of the pleasure of visiting our country.
Israelis have learned to live with Simcha, embracing life with a mindset focused on taking one day at a time with joy. Stepping into the Holy Land, you immediately feel the widespread joy of everyone around you. It feels light, with no stress, worries, or fear—an extraordinary contrast to our everyday lives. It's as if Hashem has His hands over the country, sending positive energy for everyone to breathe.
May we all feel this lightness in our hearts and minds with the help of Hashem. Amen.🙏
Wishing you all a wonderful day ❤️
