Good morning Bitachon of the day ❤️

At the end of the day, we weren’t able to get on the plane, so today was take two! I want to say thank you so much for all the love and very kind, supportive messages and phone calls I received throughout the day.

We are so lucky to be Jewish and have such an incredible community, or I should say family. Only in the Jewish community can you see the strong bond between each other, with everyone always here to help, say a kind word, and pray for someone else.

What I have learned is that Hashem's goal for us is to be altruistic and always think of others. The Torah highlights all the things that someone should do for others: mitzvah, tzedakah, and avoiding lashon hara, to name just a few. These actions are meant to make someone else's life so much easier and better in this world.

It is always about the person next to you, not about yourself. That’s how we are all wired, and that’s the reason why we are the strongest, smallest religious community in the world. We care so much about one another and will never let anyone down. There is always someone who will be there to protect you.

We should be so grateful to be Jewish and thank Hashem for this magnificent gift. Wherever you are in the world, there is always someone who will lend a hand if you are in need.

Today, when we arrived at the airport, I asked my boys if they had prayed in the morning. One said yes, but the other said he hadn't had time. So I asked him to pray while we waited to board, but his tefillin was packed in his luggage. His brother then said, "I have mine; I made a mitzvah today!"

As my son was wrapping his tefillin, people around him began to stare, intrigued by what he was doing. The person next to me asked, "Hope your family is okay. I wish you only safety." I don't think she was Jewish, but she knew that we were. Who knows how many people were touched by seeing my son put on his tefillin—certainly at least one.

We should always be proud of our religion and never be scared of those around us. We are unique, and we stand out because of our faith and beliefs, especially in these crazy times.

May we never forget the gigantic gift of being Jewish and always be grateful to Hashem for this precious blessing. Amen.

Wishing you all a meaningful Shabbat ❤️
