Shavuatov Bitachon of the day ❤️

Many people grow from the outside in. We look around at our friends, our family, and society, and then shape ourselves to fit our surroundings. The clothes we wear, the food we eat, and the things we talk about all reflect our external environment. In this model, a person is a slab of clay, and the goal of life is to fit as neatly as possible into the molds that society creates for us. However, our true purpose in life is to discover who we really are and to express our dormant perfection.

Growth isn’t about becoming great, it’s about becoming you; learning isn’t about discovery, it’s about self-discovery. You are born as a masterpiece masked by confusion; your job in this world is to uncover yourself. Instead of becoming a mirror, reflecting everything outside itself, we can become projectors. We can build something majestic and beautiful within ourselves and then express it out into the world.

It’s never too late to grow, and it’s never too early to contribute. When I wasn’t religious, I wanted to emulate my friends. I acted like them, dressed the same, and ate the same food, as if I wasn’t Jewish. I didn’t want to be different from them because that was my environment.

After I moved to New York, Hashem placed me around only Jewish people, and everyone I encountered helped me grow and become closer to Judaism. Even those who are not very religious taught me so much. I feel that as long as you strive to grow, you will become closer each day to Hashem.

Now that I am surrounded by Jewish people, I want to emulate those around me. From each person I encounter, especially since I started my daily Bitachon, I seek to understand and connect with others. I observe how they are connected to Hashem and how they perceive their own experiences. Each of us is unique in our own way, and we all live our journeys differently. But in the end, we all connect to one thing: Hashem. No matter how we perceive Him, our lives revolve around Hashem.

If we grow a little every day, we will achieve great things. Hashem will help us accomplish anything we desire, as long as it is for a good cause.

Amid the rise of antisemitism around the world, we have seen many people helping others. The number of mitzvot being done today is unprecedented. Everyone wants to help their Jewish brothers and sisters, doing whatever they can to perform a mitzvah. This brings us closer to each other and unites us as one. That’s what Hashem wants from us.

May we shape ourselves to be a better person and closer to Hashem amen 🙏

Wishing you all a wonderful day ❤️
