Good morning Bitachon of the day ❤️
Has I read my daily Tehilim chapter, Psalm 102 is very powerful
“Hashem Hashem hear my prayers and let my cry reach you. Hide not your face from me on the day of my distress, incline your ears to me on the day that I call answer me speedily”
We often think that because things don’t go according to our plan, Hashem is not here or not listening to our prayers. On the contrary, Hashem is always here and always listening. What we can't comprehend is why sometimes our prayers are not answered the way we want. So, we say, “Hashem is not listening to me,” and we get frustrated.
When I tell my kids to ask Hashem, that’s often the response I receive. But Hashem is always next to us; we just need to be more in tune and understand what Hashem wants from us at that particular moment in our lives. Unfortunately, as human beings, we always seek immediate gratification.
The perfect example is when all the employees of my nephew left him without any notice while he was on a business trip because of antisemitism. At first, there was sadness and anger because Aaron felt close to his employees and never thought they could do something like that. However, the whole community came together. My nephew got deeply involved in the cause with his whole family. Yesterday, he told me that with the money raised during that time, they were able to buy a Magen David Adom Medi-Cycle. One of my sons was there raising the money, and he couldn’t believe the outpouring of support.
In the midst of almost closing the café, Hashem was there. Looking back, He listened to everyone's prayers and more. Hashem gave others the power to do many mitzvot during that time. People were donating food, helping at the café for free, and coming together to be part of a community, to speak to everyone, and to feel connected to something greater than themselves. Families of hostages came to the café because they felt connected. The barista, who came to New York after losing her home in Israel, saw Caffe Aronne in the paper and decided to help there. There are infinite stories that happened in just a few days.
I can state that yes, Hashem hears our prayers, but we must stay positive and connected in times of challenges to be able to see redemption.
May we never forget that Hashem is always listening, and may we always stay connected no matter what. Amen.🙏
Wishing you all a wonderful day ❤️
