Good morning Bitachon of the day ❤️

This sentence is so powerful,

“In the beginning Hashem created the heavens and the earth.” ( Genesis 1:1 ).

Hashem created Us. He had the power to create anything and anyone He wanted to create and He chose to create us. We are a gift from Hashem. We were created by Hashem for a reason. The main objective of life is for us to uncover what that reason is and what our purpose is on this earth.

My daughter came back from her trip to Poland and Israel, and she received so many mixed messages. Usually, they visit Poland for a week, a very intense week filled with anger, frustration, confusion, sadness, and anxiety. All these emotions are felt at once, making it a very difficult trip. My daughter was deeply pained by the realization that so many knew what was happening and did nothing. She had so many questions like, “Why and how did Hashem allow this?” No one has an answer to this day, and we will never fully understand this horrific tragedy. After the trip to Poland, they usually spend 24 hours in Israel to see why Israel was created and appreciate how incredible of a country it is.

This year, they stayed much longer in Israel because they saw some of the same patterns repeating themselves and experienced the same emotions all over again. They wondered, “How is this happening?” But when she spoke to survivors, they all said that only Hashem saved them. All the survivors prayed with all their hearts to be heard and to have one more chance at life. Some promised that if they lived, they would become religious and keep kosher.

The Rebbe emphasized that our outrage and challenge to Hashem over the Holocaust are powerful attestations to our faith in Him and His goodness. If we didn't believe, we wouldn't question. The most important aspect of the Holocaust, according to the Rebbe, is not understanding or memorializing it, but what we do about it. If we let the despair prevent us from raising a committed Jewish generation, then Hitler's "final solution" succeeds. But if we rebuild and raise a proud, committed generation, we triumph.

And it is what we should strive for even more today. We will succeed only with the help of Hashem and triumph stronger than ever. Israelis have a deep thirst to be connected to Hashem and to one another. We should never forget that Hashem chose to create us to live.

May we thank Hashem for our creation and become united and stronger than ever. Amen.🙏

Wishing you all a wonderful day ❤️
