Shavuatov Bitachon of the Day ❤️
Becoming a better self involves a multilayered approach to our actions and decisions. First, we must assess the intrinsic value of the action to determine if it is a reflection of a deep truth and therefore objectively valuable, or if it is meaningless. Next, we need to understand the underlying reason for performing the action, questioning whether we are doing it to connect with the infinite will of Hashem or if we are driven by our own limited ego. As we proceed, it is important to reflect on how we are carrying out the action, considering whether we are maintaining our commitment to idealistic connection or compromising our values for convenience or self-interest. Finally, we must evaluate the results of our actions to determine if we achieved the intended spiritual connection or fell short. This approach encourages a deeper level of introspection and alignment with higher values in every aspect of life.
By consistently reflecting on these layers—what, why, how, and the outcome—we ensure that our actions align with a higher purpose and reflect the sophistication of our moral and spiritual journey.
Hashem teaches us not to think about ourselves as the source of our achievements; everything comes from Him. We cannot say, "I did this" or "I made this happen," because it is Hashem who does and makes everything happen. When we come to this realization, we live our lives in a completely different way.
I have been trying to learn Chafetz Haim with my kids by reading one chapter when we are together. However, it has been challenging to find time lately, so I gave them the option to follow and listen to the daily classes on WhatsApp.
Two days ago, my son was on a school trip, and he sent me a picture of his friend holding the Chafetz Haim book. I was so proud and happy to see that he inspired someone else to read it. You give the push, and Hashem does the rest. Unfortunately, bullying and gossiping are at their highest, but by listening to or reading the laws that the Chafetz Haim put together from the Torah, we can understand why we shouldn’t speak Lashon Hara, words hurt more than physical abuse. Negative speech, such as gossip or slander, can damage reputations, create divisions, and lead to feelings of isolation and mistrust.
Listening to these laws helps you become aware of their gravity, encouraging you to refrain from speaking Lashon Hara. In today's society, we are fortunate to have numerous tools at our fingertips to choose to be better people. We don't have to go anywhere; it's all accessible to us. It is our choice how we want to spend our days. You can choose to listen to classes on Torah and wisdom, or you can choose to spend time on Instagram, TikTok, or other social platforms that may not educate your soul. It is up to you how you want to reach your spiritual level and connection with Hashem.
The more I learn, the better I understand the importance of being close to Hashem. It reduces stress and anxiety, helps you better understand your journey, and He provides endless lessons from an immense book of wisdom that never ends.
May we choose wisely how to live our lives, as it will make a lasting impact on our journey. Amen.🙏
Wishing you all a wonderful day ❤️
