Good morning Bitachon of the day ❤️

We all yearn  for  connection:  to  ourselves,  to  other  people,  and, of course, to Hashem. But connection is difficult; it requires time, patience, and constant effort. Genuine communication takes a lifetime to achieve.

It can be difficult to know what is going on in another person’s inner world, to understand what they are experiencing on a deep, existential level.

The same is true when it comes to ourselves as we struggle to achieve genuine self-awareness, to get in touch with our  true selves. This all encompassing mission takes a lifetime. The goal, though,  is not  to  be  connected,  it’s  to  constantly  become  more and more connected.

We are quick to judge others without truly knowing what’s going on in their lives. We are also quick to judge ourselves, constantly putting ourselves down. We always strive to be better and achieve more than what’s expected.

Unfortunately, growing up, my parents always put me down. So with my kids, I’ve tried to always encourage them to achieve whatever they want. I tell them to pursue their goals with harmony, not stress, and to believe that Hashem will always be there to help them.

The problem in today’s society is that peer pressure is at its highest level, fueled by social media and the curated stories people post. Yesterday, my daughter received a phone call from a friend who wanted to take a summer job because she saw another friend post about having the best time there. Little did she know, the person who posted about the internship actually had the worst time and couldn’t wait for it to end. My daughter didn't have the heart to tell her the truth but tried to persuade her to look for something else to do.

We should focus on what we want to do without competing with anyone, trusting that Hashem will help us achieve it as long as we do what we love and help those around us. Stay true to yourself, and you will achieve what your heart desires. I truly believe that the more you connect to Hashem, the easier your life journey will be. Hashem loves us so much and only wants us to grow close to Him, and He will help us.

May we continue to grow spiritually, become stronger, and achieve what our hearts desire with Hashem’s help. Amen.🙏

Wishing you all a wonderful day ❤️
