Good morning Bitachon of the day ❤️
It’s crucial to understand that the pleasure of connection with Hashem is not a simple, artificial, or external pleasure. It is not a gift that can be given from one person to another. This pleasure stems from an existential relationship, a connection of true oneness.
Each of us experiences our connection with Hashem in our own unique way. Don't be discouraged if your connection differs from someone else's. The way you feel Hashem is deeply personal, residing within your soul and heart, and we are all different from one another.
When I began learning with my Rabbanite, her love for Hashem struck me the most. Her face lights up with an aura of joy every time she speaks about Him, and her body seems to vibrate with love for Him. Her expressions are so extraordinary, and it's incredibly beautiful to watch her tell a story about a miracle that happened to her.
I've always wanted to feel the same way she does about Hashem, but as I learned more, I realized that achieving the exact same connection might not be possible. We are all uniquely wired and have different feelings and experiences.
My connection with Hashem it’s going to be unique to me.
Yesterday, we made the difficult decision as a family to cancel our trip to Israel. We had meticulously planned every day, so this was not an easy choice. However, we needed to bring our daughter home, and with everyone else trying to return home due to concerns about what might happen in Israel, finding flights back was nearly impossible. The available options had multiple layovers and flight durations exceeding 30 hours.
If we hadn't been able to find a return flight for our daughter, we were prepared to travel to Israel as a family. My incredible husband stayed up from midnight to 3 am, constantly refreshing the El Al booking website. Around 2:30 am, he managed to secure a direct flight home for our daughter.
This morning, I spoke to my daughter, and her resilient spirit shone through when she told me, "Today, we can really say, we plan, because I've been planning our three weeks in Israel for the past month, and Hashem laughs!" Despite the chaos and many of her friends canceling their trips to go home, she remained her true, positive self.
Incorporating Hashem into our lives allows us to see the light even in tough times. I was feeling down and upset, but with one smile and a simple phrase, she shifted my mindset. She reminded me that our plans are ultimately in Hashem's hands, and He knows what is best for us, even if it doesn't align with our initial expectations.
We must accept it and go with the flow. The way we connect to Hashem shapes the way we lead our lives.
Even though each of us has a unique connection with Hashem, we can be influenced by how others experience Him. For instance, when I learn from my Rabbanit, I sense her deep love for Hashem, which inspires me to seek a similar connection. Today, our daughter used a simple phrase and a smile to guide me back onto the right path. While you have your own connection, you can still learn so much from the people around you. It’s not a gift someone can give you, but it’s a gift that you can take from someone who love Hashem.
May we learn from one another's love for Hashem and share it with the world. Amen. 🙏
Wishing you all a wonderful day ❤️
