Good morning Bitachon of the day ❤️
Have you ever felt like everything worthwhile in life eventually fades? The energy of youth fades into old age, the excitement of beginnings fades into routine, and the inspiration of a new goal fades into habit. This pattern extends to almost all spheres of the human experience.
Building it yourself, undergoing the work required to attain this growth in actuality, to work for the perfection that you were shown.
The purpose of life is to come into this world and rebuild all that you once experienced and understood while in the womb. However, this time it will be real, because you have built it yourself.
Today, we attended a remarkable wedding where the mother of the bride, who was not religious at all and grew up with me in Monaco, now covers her head. Her children are devoutly religious, having married at a young age, and are already blessed with numerous grandchildren.
I sat next to her Havruta (teacher) when she got married and moved to London, and her life took a complete turn. She developed a thirst for learning, and her Havruta observed that she had a lost soul but was eager to reconnect with Hashem. She made the courageous decision to leave behind the glamorous life of Monaco and embraced a lifestyle centered around Hashem, raising her children accordingly.
I've never experienced such joy at a wedding before. During the Huppah, in the midst of it all, upbeat music filled the air, and suddenly everyone started dancing. It was a lively affair, brimming with Torah-inspired fun and laughter. They even sang the Ketubah, even though the ceremony was lengthy, it felt like time flew by. They elevated the wedding ceremony to a whole new level, celebrating the words of Hashem with infectious joy. The atmosphere was one of happiness, laughter, and dancing.
The mother made a courageous decision to elevate her life to a whole new level, embarking on a journey that seemed unimaginable to me, given our shared upbringing and knowledge of her life story. Transforming her childhood routine, she dedicated herself to building a home for Hashem. It's truly an incredible story of transformation and dedication.
Hashem created the world in such a way that the inspiration and “highs” of life always fade. This is because every process in life contains three stages.
The first stage is the high, the inspiration, an experience of perfection and clarity.
The second stage is a complete fall, a sudden loss of everything that was experienced in the first stage.
The third and final stage is a return to the perfection of the first stage, but this time it is earned by your action.
Today, I witnessed my friend progress through all these stages in her life, from having zero knowledge of Hashem to embracing a life completely opposite to her previous one. She has truly undergone a remarkable transformation. She has truly earned every step of her transformation through her own efforts and dedication.
May we all navigate through the stages of life and ultimately achieve our final stage of perfection. Amen.🙏
Wishing you all a wonderful day ❤️
