Good morning Bitachon of the day ❤️
We are entrusted with the power of choice; we choose how to use the potential we are given, how to see the physical world, and how to live our lives. We must ask ourselves, “What kind of house am I building?” Are we building a broken, sloppy house? Or are we building something beautiful and majestic, something we have invested in and commit- ted ourselves toward?
A home centered around Hashem is well-equipped with life's tools: guidance on spousal relationships, raising children, and cultivating a household of peace and joy. The Torah provides the essential tools for creating a harmonious home, a home of Kedusha
To achieve this goal in your home, pick someone from whom you can learn and grow, and choose another person whom you can support in their pursuit of greater spiritual growth.
In my spiritual journey, when I sought growth, Hashem guided me to my path.
Engaging in Spanish conversation with the manicurist during a visit to the nail salon formed a connection with the Rabbanite from the Manhattan Sephardic congregation seated beside me,
a truly meaningful encounter.
She inquired about my name, and she shared that during my son's brit milah, her father passed away in Colombia. Remarkably, my brother-in-law, Michael, assisted her in bringing the body back to NY while being present at my son's brit.
It seems destined that we crossed paths.
Seated next to each other without having met before, we connected the dots to discover a profound connection. She inquired about me and invited me to explore the opportunity of learning together.
I expressed my interest, specifying a one on one class and she agreed. Now, for 14 years, we've been learning together regularly once a week. It's a testament that
Hashem positions us precisely where we need to be at the right time, and there's always a reason for us being there at that particular moment.
Your path to growth can unexpectedly unfold in the most random places.
About a year and half ago during a very challenging day, I arrived 30 minutes early for a doctor's appointment in Brooklyn and requested to see the doctor sooner. The doctor's wife, also his secretary, informed me he wasn't available but invited me to join her for a class with her havruta (study partner) that was about to begin.
The entire class focused on navigating obstacles, serving as a clear sign from Hashem, delivering precisely what I needed to hear at that moment. It was astonishing how my early arrival unexpectedly provided immense help and clarity to my mind.
As my husband often says, "We make plans, and Hashem laughs."
When we construct a home with Hashem at the center of its foundation, it becomes sturdy, strong, and secure.
May we all aspire to build our homes with a foundation of spiritual growth. Amen.
Wishing you a wonderful day 💕
