Good morning 🧡
When it comes to constructing the bridge between heaven and earth, the best material is bitachon. We see it down here on earth in our relationships with people. Nothing bonds a couple more than mutual trust. The more “bitachon” exists between people, the more they become one with each other. It’s not something that gives results over-night. Trust by definition requires time and effort, because time and effort are what it takes to know another person really well, and we are the key ingredients to any trust relationship. No one ever trusts a stranger for anything important, unless he has no choice, and even then he will worry about the result. This is the reason people have such difficulty with bitachon. It’s not the idea that bothers us but rather the “stranger.” We don’t know Hashem very well, and yet we have being advised to trust Him…for everything. No wonder we only do it, if at all, as a last resort.
It’s very hard to arrive to a certain level of trust and faith in Hashem. Some of us feel it deep down their hearts and some of us it’s a constant battle.
Today, I read a letter from one of the soldiers who passed away yesterday. He expressed that if we are reading his letter, it's because he is no longer with us. The courage in his words is incredible. He stated that he didn't die in vain; he died for his country, emphasizing that, one way or another, we all have to fight for it.
He requests not to be saddened by the deaths of soldiers but to find happiness, touch someone's heart, and strengthen each other. His message is to live life to the fullest. This soldier exhibits complete trust in where Hashem placed him and urges us to be united, love each other, enjoy life, and cherish it.
He was a 34 year old Rabbi Married with 4 kids.
His Bitachon and love for others are so profound that he expressed a willingness to go back if he were given the chance.
Reaching that level is truly challenging. Let us all contribute to Elkana Vizel's memory and strive for our country, Israel, to thrive with joy, happiness, and love for Hashem and one another.
Today, in some websites in America, they have even replaced our country Israel with "State of Palestine." We must stand together and overcome this unitedly, with the help of Hashem.
Establishing a connection between the two bridges, will facilitate the flow of blessings from Hashem. While we may not be on the front line physically fighting, we can become even stronger by fighting with our hearts and souls, demonstrating our love and trust for Hashem for Him to send His blessings to us.
May we win stronger as one and only with the help of Hashem amen 🙏
