Shavuatov Good Morning ❤️
Hashem loves us so much that he accepts someone repentance even through his thoughts states the Midrash Tehelim nb 45.
Whenever you speak even before you actually say the words out loud, as the words are forming inside your mind Hashem knows what you are about to say.
Even if someone has done much evil, when he thinks thoughts of repentance, he becomes a new person due to his power of free will.
We each have a constant choice of what we will think, say and do, we have the ability to choose to think elevated thoughts.
I am writing about this topic because my son returned from his Torah learning class incredibly happy. He learned that if someone does something wrong, they can repent to Hashem, who will forgive them, as long as they commit to doing what is right and follow what Hashem expects from them.
He learned that according to the Gemara in tractate Yoma (page 5, page 2), it is true that one who repents out of love will even have the transgressions they committed intentionally transformed into merits. This concept is supported by the verse in Ezekiel 19, 'And when the wicked turns from his wickedness and does what is just and right, he shall live.'
He came home so empowered and couldn’t wait to tell me. So what ever happened in the past Hashem will forgive him, and so we should do the same.
If we instill in our kids the belief that even if they believe they've committed a transgression, as long as they acknowledge its wrongfulness, they possess the ability to rectify their actions and become better individuals.
When someone does something wrong, they feel guilty and that often leads to more lies and hiding. It becomes a cycle that's hard to break. At first, they feel really bad, but as they keep doing it, the guilt lessens until it almost disappears. It doesn't make it right, but they get used to it and stop feeling so bad about it.
This kind of pattern is seen in scams like all Ponzi schemes. Eventually, all the lies and bad things you have done catch up with you and you get caught.
However, the mindset of repentance and seeking forgiveness from Hashem enables a fresh start, halting this damaging cycle.
May we all repent from our sins and may we all start with a fresh start, May Hashem forgive us amen 🙏
Wish you a wonderful day ❤️
