Shavuatov 💗

Even before we fill our minds and hearts with Torah, and a G-d consciousness, we must first make a strong resolution to keep away from negative influences. By clearing our minds of negativity, we are preparing our thoughts to the trust in Hashem.

Some people claim “I can be around anyone, and I won’t be influenced negatively.” But the Rambam, whose deep understanding of human nature has withstood the test of time, “The very nature of a human being is to be influenced in thoughts and actions by friends and acquaintances, and to behave in the manner of the people of his country.”

Regrettably, since October 7th, we've been witnessing something deeply disturbing unfold every day. The current state of affairs in the world seems incomprehensible to us. If we were to share this story with someone unaware of these events, they'd find it unbelievable. There's a revolt against Israel and the Jewish communities driven by our defensive actions. However, many fail to acknowledge the hostages taken, the innocent lives lost, including babies, and the atrocities like women being subjected to rape. Social media's overwhelming influence overshadows our attempts to convey the truth; people readily believe all the negativity they encounter.

Your thoughts are who you are. For example, the difference between a Joyful person and a sad person lies in his thoughts.

What this war has taught me is the necessity of striving for peace within our minds and souls, steering clear of negativity that only exacerbates the situation and prevents us from praying and finding solace in the guidance of Hashem.

Choosing wisely to be influenced by those who have absorbed the thoughts of gratitude to Hashem, will open our eyes and see many things we are grateful for.

Our thoughts create our feelings, our words and actions.

As I started this chat, my initial aim was to contribute a mitzvah towards Israel's peace, the safe return of our hostages, and the well being of our soldiers. Little did I realize it would also serve as a means for my own healing, a chance to detach from the constant news cycle and social media. Instead, I've been immersing myself in  shiur and heartfelt prayers, seeking a miracle from Hashem.

May we all keep away from negativity and pursue positivity amen 🙏

I want to dedicate my Bitachon today to a very special men that left us, Siyun Mahfar Syun Ben Mazal may his Nechama rest in peace and may all his family doesn’t have any more sorrow amen 🙏

Wish you all a wonderful day ❤️
