Good morning ❤️

What can we do spiritually that will fill our days with good?

We must be careful with what we say.  Refrain from speaking lashon hora, speaking negatively against others.Refrain from words that cause pain to someone else.

The words we say can be precious and can do much good, but just as a person who owns a dangerous weapon needs to guard it to prevent accidental harm and damage, so we need to watch what we say, if not we can cause immeasurable pain and suffering.

A person should think before he speaks.

Be grateful that each time you speak, you have an opportunity to fulfill Hashem’s commandments.

There's a book called the Chofetz Chaim and a WhatsApp group focused on Lashon Hora (gossip). The Rabbi mentions that if you listen to or read one chapter daily, miracles can occur. With over 1000 women now listening daily, they share the miracles they've experienced, people finding life partners, health issues resolving, among others.

The Chofetz Chaim explains that in the past, speaking Lashon Hora led to Tzaraat, a severe skin disease, as a form of divine punishment. It's immensely challenging to refrain from speaking Lashon Hora, but it's a virtue worth striving for.

When we learn to see the goodness in others, we naturally tend to speak positively about them. Our words hold immense power, capable of impacting both ourselves and those around us.

Recent events highlighted testimonies about college presidents who failed to act according to the law, perpetuated lies, and neglected to address antisemitism. Consequently, their downfall seems imminent as they step down one by one.

Antisemitism has plagued colleges for years, evident through BDS groups and antisemitic professors. While it's troubling that it took a crisis for action to be taken, perhaps we can cautiously acknowledge the change occurring. Hopefully, it signifies an end to tolerance for antisemitism against Jewish students in colleges.

Ultimately, their downfall stemmed from their inability to guard their tongues and act responsibly.

That shows we should all learn how to guard our tongues. Speak about the greatness of Hashem, Torah, Mitzvah, as much as you can, this will always give you positive things to talk about.

Wish you all a wonderful day 💗
