Good morning Bitachon of the day ❤️
What could we accomplish if instead of listening to the voice in our head that tells us we can’t, we listened to the voice within us that tells us we can?
Today, the world mourns the loss of a truly remarkable individual, but Hashem has gained someone truly incredible.
During the funeral service, I learned that she had been battling illness for over 20 years, a fact I had never known. Despite her struggles, her presence never failed to light up a room. She possessed an extraordinary attitude, always radiating kindness and positivity, and she maintained impeccable appearance at all times.
She refused to let her illness take control of her life. Despite the advice of doctors and those around her, she remained steadfast in her belief that she was healthy, and no one could convince her otherwise.
These were the sentiments expressed in the speeches about her. That her daily routine was part of listening to Michael Safti Bitachon chat, and Torah classes. Even before her illness worsened, she requested to be added to my Bitachon chat. I felt a bit intimidated by the request, unsure of how I could contribute more to her life.
From the speeches, it became clear that her Emunah (faith) and Bitachon (trust) in Hashem were truly incomprehensible.
I feel incredibly fortunate to have met her. Her daughter and son-in-law hold a special place in my heart. Today, after the funeral, her son-in-law approached me and shared, "The only person I know who had a relationship with their mother-in-law like I had with Rachelle is you with my mom." His words deeply touched me, it felt like Hashem was talking to me directly, why did he stop to tell me that, he was devastated just gave an very moving speech and was going to bury his mother in law. It served as an enforcement of how fortunate I am to have encountered such an extraordinary person in my life, like his mom, Vivian.
It's as if Hashem silenced all the noise of suffering and pain around me and sent me a clear message.
In our lives, G‑d sometimes communicates with us or sends us messages. However, amidst the noise and distractions, it can be challenging to discern His clear signal. So, what can we do about it? Let's begin by addressing "noise reduction" on a practical level.
We have a choice in what information we absorb: we can focus on negative, flawed, or irrelevant information, or we can prioritize information that aligns with our goals. However, since our capacity to process information is limited, there's a trade-off involved: the more negative input we allow, the less room there is for positive signals, and vice versa.
May we all be attuned to Hashem's voice, transforming "can't" into "can," and may we diminish the negative noises around us, embracing positivity. Amen 🙏
Wishing you all a wonderful day ❤️
