Good morning Bitachon of the day ❤️
Some may refer to the Torah as a history book; others may think of it as a book of law or a source of Jewish wisdom. While these are all true, they only scratch the surface of the Torah’s true nature. Torah is not simply a guide to living a life of truth within this world; it is the blueprint and DNA of the world itself.
Listening to Torah classes daily has transformed my perspective on life. It's astonishing that the Torah, written in 500 BC, provides timeless guidance for living. Despite life's evolution, its tools endure. The consistency suggests a divine origin; doubting Hashem's existence seems unfounded.
Only Hashem could have created it. How could we question the existence of Hashem?
Raised by a nanny without much parental guidance, I guided my children through Torah teachings. The Torah has been my life's teacher, offering answers, some still unclear, some crystal clear. The journey of learning is constant, emphasizing the importance of daily learning to discover something new; one never truly stops learning.
Also As the Talmud says: "The study of Torah is equal to the sum total of all other mitzvahs"
Witnessing numerous miracles as my kids began learning, especially when they connected with a teacher they resonated with. Their attitudes transformed positively, and their newfound love for learning was truly remarkable.
A Torah class served as the connection that led me to meet my husband. Arriving in Brooklyn with a thirst for learning, my adopted family took me to classes. During one session, a friend of my husband noticed me and suggested she had the perfect husband for me. At 22, marriage wasn't on my radar as a secular European Jewish woman, so I declined but expressed my interest in finding a job.
When asked about my aspirations, I mentioned my desire to work in the jewelry business. The friend said, "He's in the jewelry business; I'll have him call you!" The rest is history. If I hadn't attended that Torah class, our paths might never have crossed. Interestingly, the class focused on marriage, a topic I was initially against. Torah has become the vehicle to greatness in my life and, I believe, in everyone else's when it becomes part of their soul and core.
Rebbe Akiva in the Talmud aptly compares expecting a Jew to live without Torah to expecting a fish to live without water. When there's no Torah in one's life, the essence of Jewish life seems lost. It reflects in choices, like kids not marrying within the community, leading to the potential loss of a rich legacy.
That's why the Rebbe established Shluchim, sending them worldwide, even to the most unexpected places, to save even one soul, akin to saving thousands.
I witnessed the transformation firsthand in my hometown. When Chabad arrived over 15 years ago, with not even a Jewish friend, the Jewish population in Monaco has surged by 100%. Today, it boasts the largest Jewish community per capita ratio.
“The thee loves—love of G‑d, love of Torah and love of one's fellow—are one.”
It is so true, without the Torah there will be no Jews left on this earth.
May we cherish one the most precious gift from Hashem and may we all start to learn every day amen 🙏
Wishing you all a blessed Shabbat ❤️
