Good morning Bitachon of the day 💕
How often do we create mental cages of our own? How often do we allow other people’s opinions of us to shape our reality? We allow people to tell us what we can or cannot do. Sometimes it’s a friend or loved one. But worst of all, it’s usually our own inner voice that is the cause of our self-doubt. We convince ourselves that “we can’t”; we’re not smart enough, good-looking enough, or funny enough. We’re too old or too young, too short or too tall. But here’s the key: we are the only ones who hold the key to our mental cages because we created the lock. Opening the lock is simple; it requires only that we make a new decision that we change our identity, that we believe it is possible.
My parents consistently undermined my worth, telling me I was never good enough or attractive enough, insisting success required following their advice.
I strongly opposed their perception of me, remaining steadfast, always confident that I would prove them wrong.
Upon leaving for New York, they predicted my return with my tail between my legs, convinced they would be proven right.
Being headstrong, I never allowed my parents to bring me down. Instead, it strengthened me and contributed to my growth and show them how wrong they were. From my experiences, I've learned that being raised in a home where Hashem is present creates a family atmosphere and energy that are completely in sync and harmonious.
In a home without kedusha, lacking belief in Hashem and devoid of Shabbat, it becomes a lost environment, lacking the same dynamic.
My determination led me to come to NY, where I met my husband and built a family with Hashem as our center, our father, and protector, an experience I didn't have in my own family.
Close your eyes, envision an ideal future, then open them and transform that vision into our reality. I believe that when we connect with our best selves and with Hashem, the source of all self, limitless possibilities unfold.
May Hashem be at the center of your home, and may we believe in ourselves and don’t listen to others opinions. Amen 🙏
Wish you all a blessed Shabbat ❤️
