Good Morning ❤️
How great is the disparity between what I have accomplished and what I can accomplish? Am I spending my time properly or am I involved in things that distract me from my higher calling? How can I strengthen the thread that connects my outer life and my inner life?
Having lived in various cities around the world, I find that New York uniquely nurtures a connection to Hashem. Classes are easily accessible, at our fingertips, from early morning to late at night. If desired, one can immerse themselves in a robust Jewish community. Just on the Upper East Side, there are over 20 Shuls to choose from.
Since moving here, the community has reached new heights. While in Brooklyn it's the norm, in the city, we sometimes get lost in the fast pace of life. However, Hashem has a significant presence here too. I can observe everyone making a continuous effort to engage in more good deeds, attend more classes, and assist others. Just at the Safra on 63rd, there are over 90 classes a day, always bustling with activity.
With all the new WhatsApp chats offering Torah classes, Lashon Hara lessons, Emunah stories, and more, you can easily connect to Hashem whenever you have the chance.
Life unfolds in mysterious ways; just when you think your spiritual journey is on the right path, Hashem sends one of His angels to guide you onto a different route, helping you reach a higher level.
Whenever I consider halting my daily Bitachon writing, a message from someone on the chat, a person I've never met, thanking me for the empowering impact of my words, arrives. It feels like an angel of Hashem, reminding me not to stop writing.
Hashem positions His angels throughout our journey, connecting them as threads between our outer and inner lives. Witnessing miracles unfolding before your eyes all day, it becomes natural to strengthen and draw closer to Hashem. The desire to be a better person and serve Hashem in the best way possible becomes undeniable.
Life is like a ladder you should always achieve to go up and trying not to go down and regress.
May we all fortify the connection between our outer and inner lives with Hashem's help. Amen. 🙏
Wishing you all a wonderful day ❤️
