Good Morning ❤️

One day we are virtuous, the next we are selfish; one day we are motivated, the next we procrastinate.

Procrastination poses a significant challenge for many of us. We tend to postpone tasks, succumb to laziness, and let our Yetzer Hara take over, leading to tasks left undone.

What steps can we take to boost motivation and strengthen our connection to Hashem, ensuring we overcome the tendency to procrastinate?

For those who know me, procrastination is something I can't stand! When my kids get lazy, it absolutely drives me crazy. I tackle a million things a day, and if I don't get them done, I feel like I haven't fulfilled my obligations.

The new generation is adopting the practice of setting timers on their phones to prompt them throughout the day to complete tasks. However, they often end up turning off the alarm without accomplishing the task, using the alarm more as a reminder than a means of actual achievement.

I’ve been reading a lot about procrastination and I thought this was very interesting.

“Why does the Yetzer Hara care to duel for our time? Well, apparently he’s aware of something that we choose to ignore: Time and our unique abilities are gifts, so precious that they are irreplaceable. This person will never again live through this moment. Every moment the Satan delays us from using the combined force is lost. So he’s investing an awful lot of energy in making sure that happens. The system works in his favor—convincing us to waste just a few moments of time throws myriads of impact to the trash. If we appreciate the power of the time and energies we currently have—a combination that will never again appear—how could we throw it away?”

When your soul connects with Hashem, it empowers you to overcome laziness and prevents the evil inclination from derailing your time.

When you hold the belief that Hashem has given you a purpose in this life, and it's your responsibility to fulfill it.

Hashem will assist you in accomplishing what's on your plate. If you channel your energy and thoughts towards something good, you'll be able to achieve it in no time.

Look at how people have transformed in the past three months since the war. Everyone is making an effort to help as much as they can.

They kicked procrastination aside, focusing on their purpose to help our country and people through these tough times. It goes to show that when you get closer to Hashem,  your Bitachon and Emunah take the lead, there's nothing you can't achieve.

May we all connect to our purpose in life and move forward with our lives and have a goal that we can achieve amen 🙏

Wish you a wonderful day 💗
