“I will praise Hashem while I am alive”
These verses are in the morning prayer.
It reminds us that we are only temporarily residents in this world. Therefore we need to make the best out of it.
Interpretations of this phrase vary; some may see it as a call to work and prosper, striving for success and intelligence.
Alternative perspectives include helping others, engaging in mitzvahs, and contributing to a sense of community.
Some may choose a more relaxed approach, embracing a leisurely lifestyle without excessive work, expressing contentment with simplicity.
What is Hashem's true purpose for us?
How can we optimize our actions to fulfill His intentions?
What are the expectations that Hashem has for us?
Having lived on both ends of the religious spectrum, my initial aspirations were centered around success and be financially stable.
Now, my desire for success and wealth remains, but it is grounded in a continuous practice of praising Hashem throughout the day.
Beyond pursuing work and financial success, it's crucial to acknowledge that the success of my job is ultimately determined by Hashem's will, I am merely a vessel in this world, and the credit does not belong to me but only to Hashem.
Feeling thankful naturally makes you want to give back to Hashem. It doesn't require a lot, but showing kindness is a meaningful way to respond to the goodness given by Hashem.
Hashem desires us to engage in Mitzvah, prayers, and promote kindness while giving Tzedakah to assist the less fortunate. Realizing that everything originates from Hashem, not ourselves, simplifies the fulfillment of these actions.
A Mitzvah can be as simple as extending a helping hand to another Jewish soul, whether through a kind word or a gesture of kindness to those around you.
Prayer, requiring just a few minutes each day, serves as a means to express gratitude and thank Hashem for His blessings in your life.
Spread goodness by refraining from speaking Lashon Hara, sharing words of Torah, and making an effort to bring a smile to someone's face.
Allocating 10% of your earnings to Tzedakah reflects an understanding that your income is a blessing from Hashem, and serving as a conduit to assist others in this world.
Gratitude and appreciation are the most important ingredients for happiness and joy.
May we all decide to praise Hashem during our time in this world amen 🙏
Wish you a wonderful day ❤️
