Good Morning 💗
“Hashem, open my lips, and my mouth will declare your praise.”
Before you begin praying, you ask Hashem to give you the strength and energy to be able to pray.
This is a statement of awareness that our very ability to speak at this moment, is a gift from the One you will now address in prayers. In essence you are praying to be able to pray.
When I was growing up, there were no prayers around me. Even Passover was played on a cassette.
After many years of working on myself, I now spend most of my day praying. I express gratitude to Hashem for everything I have, and my entire day revolves around Him. My days are much lighter now. Even if I get upset, it doesn't last long, I let go and move on. Being connected to Hashem makes my day clearer and easier to deal with.
We all know living in NYC, where days are filled with obstacles, I just try not to let it get to me.
For those who know me, if I have nothing to hide and if I have something to say, I express it without much of a filter. This straightforward approach might not be liked by everyone, leading some to go against me.
Prayers has helped me to be able to move on to the next obstacle.
Expressing gratitude, talking to Hashem, and praying throughout the day are what help me navigate through challenges.
When I exercise, I Thank Him for the ability to do so. Throughout the day, as I accomplish tasks on my to-do list, I express gratitude. Every time something good happens, I Thank Hashem and communicate with Him, sincerely acknowledging what I have from the bottom of my heart.
I believe prayers come from the soul, and I don't think you should only pray from a siddur; you can pray from your heart and soul. Even when the day doesn't go as predicted, I trust that Hashem has a reason for it. I strive to focus on the good, practicing gratitude and appreciation for what Hashem has done for me.
Nourishing your soul with words of prayers and praising Hashem can be fulfilling.
Additionally, you have the capacity to assist others in reaching their spiritual goals. If they see your gratitude to Hashem, they may strive to do the same. It's a chain reaction that never ends, you never know which soul you will touch next, and that soul may then touch another one, creating a ripple effect.
May we all have the strength and energy to pray to Hashem and be grateful for everything we have amen 🙏
Wish you a wonderful day 💗
