Good morning ❤️

What exactly is prayer? Is it simply reciting words from a prayer book? Or just rattling the prayers off?

I've learned from all the lessons I've taken that a meaningful prayer is so important.

We shouldn't rush; we should pour our entire soul into each word.

It's nearly impossible for everyone to stay concentrated throughout the entire Amida. We should choose a paragraph that truly inspires us and pick a different one each day.

Unfortunately, while praying, our minds tend to wander and think about various things.

For example for me, when praying for our loved ones' health, it's crucial to pause and earnestly pray from the depths of our hearts for Hashem to listening to our prayers.

For me, health is the top priority in life. Without it, you can't achieve anything; your body can't function properly, making it impossible to perform anything.

Unfortunately, I've observed in my life that doctors don't always have all the answers. We become a trial and error for them, and if they can't find a solution to our illness, it's sometimes dismissed as imagined.

If you're severely ill to the point where they can't find a cure and try trial treatments that might help, those medications can end up damaging other parts of your body.

The first time I encountered illness was when my mom fell ill over 10 years ago. Despite being completely secular, when we tried to assist her, she said, "If Hashem wants me to live, I will live, and He will guide the doctors to cure me. If not, it's my time, and no one can save me."

That sentence has stayed in my mind every day since that moment.

Back then, I didn't fully grasp the meaning, but today I realize it's so true. We must do our best to find solutions and fight for our health, but ultimately, only Hashem can guide us on that journey, and no one else.

During the prayer for health, I plead with Hashem to hear my supplications, to listen to my prayers for all the people around me that are sick and need Hashem to help them. I pause and dedicate myself to Hashem. It sets the tone for my day.

Prayers are incredibly powerful, especially when you trust and believe that Hashem is right there next to you, attentively listening to your pleas.

Before you pray, try to clear your mind and ask Hashem to listen to you. In our busy lives, where rushing is common, prayer is one thing we should truly avoid rushing.

Starting our day with a strong sense of Hashem's presence makes the day much easier, calmer, and more enjoyable.

My son when I raise my voice he tells me “Why are you raising your voice for no reason!” I stop and think and I apologize. He is so right, why we have to raise our voices, be nervous when there is not an actual reason to. We can communicate much better with a calm conversation. And prayers prepare the day to a calmer day.

Let’s all grow and stay connected to Hashem while praying, it will help us to set the tone of the day. Amen 🙏

Wish you all a wonderful day 🧡
