Good morning ☺️
“A wise person learns from every one” Pirkei Avos 4:1
Every person that comes your way may have something to teach you. You can never know how someone’s pattern might be exactly what you will need to model at some time in the future.
The entire world is a Divinely sent institution of education for you.
Each words and actions pattern you see may come in handy someday.
When you actually use a pattern that you have once seen express your gratitude to Hashem for His having sent it to you.
Upon arriving in Brooklyn with my adopted family, I witnessed their deep belief in Hashem and constant prayers for others. Little did I expect that one day, I would find myself emulating their spiritual path. Despite not being religious initially, they unknowingly guided me toward a new perspective.
During my first week living there, a 3-year-old boy in the community was diagnosed with cancer. What unfolded during that week was truly remarkable.
The entire community united to perform a mitzvah for the boy's recovery. Some refrained from speaking for 24 hours, others fasted, and many prayed Tehilim. It was an unimaginable experience for me, and I witnessed a miracle as the boy was cured before my eyes.
Thanks to my adopted family, sent by Hashem, I've undergone significant transformation. It took years to reach where I am today, but the lessons I learned and the experiences I witnessed shaped a new me. It saved my life. I married a Jewish person and raised my kids in a Jewish environment. From having no connection to Judaism, it has now become the guiding principle of my life, my belief and trust in Hashem.
When Hashem presents a pattern of human behavior that could benefit you, seize the opportunity to learn from it. Wisdom is key in discerning when to apply such lessons and when not to.
Recognize that the moment you encounter it, the pattern is stored in your mind, accompanying you wherever you go. Express gratitude to Hashem for sending such meaningful patterns your way.
May we all be aware of our surroundings and learn from others around you. Let us express gratitude to Hashem for the unique path He has chosen for each of us. Amen 🙏
